Donald Trump’s new scarf leaves everyone saying the same thing

A sentence I never thought I’d write – Donald Trump’s new burgundy scarf has got everyone talking.

That’s right, the US president, 79, has become a hotly debated fashion topic after he wore an outfit that’s quite different to his usual style, and people think they know the reason why.

On Saturday (22 November), Trump spoke to members of the press before departing the White House on Marine One in Washington, D.C.

However, it wasn’t a shocking comment or new policy that drew attention, but instead the Republican leader’s outfit – a black wool button-up coat and burgundy scarf.

Now, we’re used to seeing Trump in his signature black or navy suit with a white shirt and red tie, so this is somewhat of a dramatic new look for the president.
